1st part of this year's Spain-Germany students' exchange 18th-25th October |
Thirteen German students accompanied by two teachers spent a whole week in Murcia hosted by Spanish students. Every day we have visited iconic sites in Murcia and Alicante. Above we can revisit some of the highlights from this exciting week.
On Thursday 18th we welcomed them at Murcia Bus Station and everybody was pleased to meet their hosts. On Friday they started with a tour around the school to see the different buildings and the many workshops we have in this school. But soon we had to leave for some sightseeing as we visited the cathedral, the Casino and Ana's Museum among others.
Then the weekend arrived and we all enjoyed every minute of the group activities and down time.
On Monday the group went to Cartagena and took a guided tour of the city and port with the history teacher, J. Pablo. On Tuesday they accompanied our students for three first lessons, having a lot of fun in the dance class learning salsa and bachata. After the break we visited the Science and Water Museum. For dinner we all met in a typical Murcian restaurant to try some tasty dishes and enjoy our farewell dinner together.
Wednesday was our last full day together and we decided to spend it at the beach in Alicante. The weather was fantastic for our friends from the north and the views from the castle were breathtaking.
On our way back we also had the opportunity to stop in Elche and have some free time in the city center.
The departure day arrived all too quickly and we had to say goodbye until the end of January, when our students will visit them in Göppingen.
